What happens to material you share with Perri.
This notice describes the current private alpha operated by EdTech Panda LLC. It does not make promises about features or controls that have not been built yet.

Do not include student information
Perri is intended for adults age 18 or older, not for direct student use. Remove identifiable student information before submitting material. Perri’s screening is an additional safeguard, not a guarantee or a substitute for your school’s requirements.
What the alpha handles
Perri handles the teaching material you submit, the review it produces, your alpha invitation and agreement status, and limited technical information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service. The alpha does not currently provide billing or a saved review-history interface.
Why it is used
We use submitted material to screen for possible student information, determine whether it is educational material Perri can review, produce the review, check selected claims when appropriate, deliver the result, and protect the service.
OpenAI and source checking
Accepted material is sent to OpenAI’s API to produce the review. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI’s default abuse-monitoring logs may contain prompts and responses and may be retained for up to 30 days. You can read the current details in OpenAI’s API data-controls documentation.
When Perri checks a selected factual claim, a limited query or relevant passage may also be processed through OpenAI’s web-search tools and public web sources. Processing may occur in the United States and may cross national borders.
Storage in the current alpha
Perri retains an invitation record, agreement acceptance, review count, review identifiers, timing and cost information, result state, and the number and types of notes produced. These operational records help EdTech Panda LLC operate the alpha and understand reliability without normally retaining the full teaching material.
After a completed review, you may separately choose to share the submitted material, Perri’s complete review, and your feedback for product evaluation and improvement. Contributed material is scheduled for deletion after 90 days. This choice is optional and is not required to continue using your alpha invitation.
EdTech Panda LLC does not sell submitted material, use it for advertising, or use contributed alpha material to train its own models under the current alpha permission.
Your responsibility and choices
Submit only material you are authorized to share and remove student information, confidential records, and unnecessary personal details first. You may stop before submitting, decline optional contribution, close the page, or delete downloaded copies under your control.
Security, changes, and questions
We use reasonable safeguards for this limited alpha, but no online service can promise absolute security. We will update this notice as accounts, hosting, retention controls, or additional providers are introduced. Questions can be directed to EdTech Panda LLC through the contact channel provided with your alpha access.
